Itineraries
Day 1
Departure – Kunming Changshui Airport – Hotel Check-In (Free & Easy Day)
Meals: Not Included
Accommodation: Chujian Hotel or equivalent
Guest will fly to Kunming, where our professional staff will arrange airport pickup and transfer to your hotel for a brief rest.
*City Tour Recommendations: Jinma Biji Archway, Green Lake, Military Academy, Southwest Associated University Site, Kunming Old Street, Nanqiang Street.
*City Food Recommendations: Xiangyun Food City, Nanqiang Food Street, Justice Square, Shuangqiao Village, Various Night Barbeques, and other local delicacies
Day 2
Kunming – Stone Forest – Dianchi Lake – High-Speed Train to Dali
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Erhai Bay Holiday or equivalent
Explore Stone Forest, the AAAAA-rated scenic area. Next, visit Dianchi Lake, the sixth-largest freshwater lake in China. You can enjoy Dianchi Lake by strolling along the shore, cycling, taking a boat ride, or climbing Longmen for a panoramic view. In the evening, take the high-speed train to Dali.
*Note: Stone Forest will be change to Jacaranda Street on Jacaranda Season (End of April to May) based on the blooming conditions.
Day 3
Santorini - Wenbi Village - Shuanglang Ancient Town - Dali
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Erhai Bay Holiday or equivalent
After breakfast, enjoy a close encounter with Erhai Lake, taking in the natural beauty of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Witness the Golden Shuttle Mist over the lake, allowing yourself to be enchanted by the picturesque scenery. Santorini is a popular spot for social media enthusiasts. Located on the hillside by Erhai Lake, Santorini boasts beautiful, picturesque views.
Day 4
Longkan Wharf - Dali Ancient City - Popular Scenic S Curve Road - Xizhou Ancient Town - Lijiang
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodations: The Liwang Hotel
Early risers can head to Longkan Wharf to witness the golden sunrise over Erhai Lake. Explore Dali Ancient City, where Foreigner’s Street offers live music and drinks, while the North Gate is a popular photo spot. Stop by a popular social media spot, the S-curve road in Panxi Village, a Bai ethnic village. It located along an eco-corridor, offers stunning views of Erhai’s rippling waters. Next, visit Xizhou Ancient Town, known for its well-preserved Bai architecture, traditional courtyards. After the Dali tour, drive to Lijiang. In the evening, explore Lijiang Ancient City before returning to the hotel for rest.
Day 5
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain - Shuhe Ancient Town - Lijiang
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: The Liwang Hotel or equivalent
After breakfast, head to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the sacred mountain of the Naxi people. Take the Glacier Cable Car. Visit Blue Moon Valley, where the melting snow forms a serene blue river. The valley is shaped like a crescent moon and offers picturesque views of yaks drinking from the river. Afterward, explore Shuhe Ancient Town. Savor local delicacies, relax in a cozy bar or bookstore, and shop for unique souvenirs in boutique stores.
**Note: If the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Cable Car is closed for maintenance or due to weather, it will be replaced with the Spruce Meadow Cable Car, with the price different refunded.
Day 6
Tiger Leaping Gorge - Pudacuo National Park - Shangri-La
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Floral Hotel.Xinzhong Riyue Hotel or equivalent
Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, known as one of the deepest and most famous gorges in the world. The Jinsha River flows here, suddenly blocked by the Jade Dragon and Haba Snow Mountains, transforming the tranquil waters into a raging torrent. Explore the tranquil Pudacuo National Park, with its serene beauty year-round. At Shudu Lake, see rhododendrons and fish swimming in crystal-clear waters amidst towering trees, creating a natural barrier that stands like a picturesque screen. For dinner, you can enjoy a Tibetan feast with dishes like Tibetan-style yak hotpot, butter tea, barley wine, Tibetan snacks, and roast chicken. Experience Tibetan culture and enjoy traditional song and dance performance.
Day 7
Dukezong Ancient Town - Napa Lake Grassland - Shangri-La to Kunming by Train - Kunming
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Gongxili - Chujian Hotel (Nanping Pedestrian Street Jinmafang) or equivalent
After breakfast, explore Dukezong Ancient Town on your own. Take a leisurely walk or visit the Prayer Wheel to offer prayers for your family and find inner peace in this spiritual setting. Next, explore Napa Lake, a wetland nature reserve protecting seasonal highland lakes and marsh meadows. As the largest grassland in Zhongdian County and a scenic area rich in highland features, it attracts numerous bird species like black-necked cranes, yellow ducks, and bar-headed geese during autumn. In the afternoon, take the train back to Kunming and transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 8
Kunming - Home
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, we will arrange your transfer to the airport based on your departure time. We wish you a safe journey and look forward to welcoming you back to Yunnan!
